Plain language, no legalese padding
Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain terms, what happens when you use the AI Visibility Checker, what this site collects (or doesn't collect) about your visit, and discloses the affiliate relationships on this site. Short version: there is no account, no login, and the URLs you check are not stored anywhere after the check completes.
What happens when you check a URL
When you enter a URL into the checker, our server (a Cloudflare Worker) fetches a handful of public files from that domain, its homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml, the same way any normal visitor's browser or any search engine's crawler would. The results are computed and returned directly to your browser in that single request. The URL you checked and the results are not written to a database, not logged with your IP address attached, and not shared with any third party.
Because the check happens fresh on every request, there is no history to view, export, or delete, there is simply nothing stored to begin with.
Theme preference
The only thing this site saves on your device is your light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser's localStorage. This does not identify you, is never sent to any server, and only exists so the page remembers your preference on your next visit. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The feedback button
Below each page there is an optional thumbs-up / thumbs-down feedback button, and an optional short text feedback form. Both send an anonymous signal to this site's backend, no information that identifies you, no stored IP address tied to your message, no tracking cookie. The optional text form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (a CAPTCHA alternative) purely to prevent automated spam submissions.
Analytics
This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service that reports aggregate visit counts and page performance without using tracking cookies or building an individual visitor profile. It does not use fingerprinting and does not track you across other websites.
The only other technical information involved is the standard request-level data (source IP address, browser type, request time) that Cloudflare's network processes automatically to deliver the page to your browser, the same way any hosting provider does. That falls under Cloudflare's own privacy policy as the network operator.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising tracking cookies or third-party profiling cookies. The only local storage used is the localStorage mentioned above, for your theme preference, which is not automatically sent to any server with every request the way a traditional cookie is.
Affiliate links disclosure
The AI visibility trackers page and the AEO guide contain links to Semrush, Writesonic and Surfer SEO, marked with rel="sponsored", that may earn this site a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. Those three are the only tools on this site linked as potential affiliate partners; every other tool mentioned (Peec AI, Otterly AI, Profound, LLMrefs, AthenaHQ and others) is linked purely editorially, with no commission involved, and is explicitly labeled as such on the page where it appears.
Advertising
This site reserves space for display advertising as part of its business model, but no ad network is active at this time. If that changes, this section will be updated to name the network and describe what data it collects before any ad is shown.
What this site does not do
To be explicit rather than vague: there is no user account system, no login, no email newsletter signup, no remarketing pixel, and no sale or sharing of visitor data with data brokers. Checking a URL, reading a guide, and generating an llms.txt draft are the entire functionality of this site, and none of them require collecting personal information, so none is collected.
Changes to this policy
If the way this site collects or handles data changes in the future, for example if an ad network is activated, this page will be updated to reflect that change before it takes effect. The commitment is to keep this text matching what the tool actually does, not a generic description copied from elsewhere.
